  • Funding Sources: City of Pharr, United Way of South Texas, Pharr Community Development Block Grant, Foundations, State Grants (TEXSYN Program, Texas AIM, Texas Dept. of Ag.), Office of Justice Program Funding, Urban County Program, Corporate Giving, Individual Giving, Grants and Fund Raising events.

Youth Development Strategy
  • Boys & Girls Club programs promote the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, a sense of usefulness, a sense of belonging and a sense of power or influence.
  • When this strategy is fully implements, self-esteem is enhanced and an environment is created which helps boys and girls achieve their full potential.
