Raising Cane’s to hold Fundraiser for Boys & Girls Clubs across all Rio Grande Valley Restaurants

Eight local Restaurants to donate proceeds Aug. 3 to RGV Boys & Girls Clubs chapters to provide support for over 85,000 youth

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas (July 19, 2022) – Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers has always believed it has a responsibility to give back to its Communities and make a difference in the lives of locals who support its Restaurants.

That’s why on Wednesday, Aug. 3, the popular chicken finger brand is teaming up to support The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rio Grande Valley with a fundraiser at its eight area Restaurants. When Customers mention the fundraiser at one of the eight Restaurants, Raising Cane’s will donate 15% of food and beverage sales to the local chapters.

Collectively, Boys & Girls Clubs of the RGV provides a safe and positive after-school and summer experience to an estimated 85,000 youth annually across the Communities of Pharr-San Juan, McAllen, Mission, Edinburg, Weslaco and Harlingen.

What: Raising Cane’s will donate 15% of food and beverage proceeds to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the RGV when a Customer mentions the fundraiser in-store or in the drive-thru.

Who: Benefitting local Boys & Girls Clubs in Edinburg, Harlingen, McAllen, Mission, Pharr-San Juan and Weslaco.

When: Wednesday, Aug. 3 from 4-9 p.m.

“We’re grateful for devoted partners like Raising Cane’s who help us provide program activities like homework assistance, social recreation, technology access, life skills, healthy habits and more to the RVG’s youth,” said Boys & Girls Club of Pharr-San Juan Director of Operations Stephanie Leal. “The support from this fundraiser will directly impact our organizational efforts of building bright futures within our Communities.”

“One of Raising Cane’s pillars is active Community involvement, so we’re proud to work with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the RGV and help them achieve their mission of enabling youth to reach their full potential,” said Matt Stephens Area Leader of Restaurants. “We can’t wait to host this fundraiser across the Rio Grande Valley and look forward to having the Community come out and support next week!”

At Raising Cane’s, it all starts with 100% premium white meat chicken tenderloins that are marinated, hand-battered and cooked to order. The menu is also renowned for its craveable – some say addictive – secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
