Mercedes Benz and Audi of San Juan Spread Holiday Cheer to Boys & Girls Club of Pharr San Juan with Generous Contribution

San Juan, TX – Boys & Girls Club of Pharr – San Juan received a generous contribution from Mercedes Benz and Audi of San Juan this past holiday season. The dealerships made a donation of $5,000 in support of the organization and its impact on the youth of local communities.

The funds were donated towards the club’s annual holiday initiatives including a festive club Christmas party and toy drive. Staff worked to transform the club into a winter wonderland and the whole day was spent enjoying treats, engaging in cheerful activities, and the most anticipated visit from Santa, ensuring every member received a Christmas gift. It is a tradition the organization was committed to keeping as youth, teens, and families look forward to the annual fun each year.

Covid 19 has limited the numbers at which the organization can serve its youth and teens however, BGCPSJ has an average daily attendance of 250 members collectively amongst their 3 club sites (Main, South Pharr, San Juan). The organization has been serving as a positive out of school experience for youth & teens for the past 50 years. Its mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to enable our children to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible individuals. This mission is implemented every weekday through its Afterschool Program that focuses on activities surrounding educational assistance, the arts, health, physical fitness, technology, recreation, a teen center, balanced meals, and fun.

The Mercedes Benz and Audi dealership of San Juan are a part of the Continental Automotive Group. CAG has been passionate and committed to community involvement since its beginnings in 1966. BGCPSJ is one of the many organizations and causes the group has supported.
